Man finds hidden 'rooms and tunnels' under home as people share warning

A man was left gobsmacked after stumbling upon a secret labyrinth of tunnels beneath his house, and despite the wild discovery, people were quick to serve up a warning.

Detailing his find on , he wrote about how an itch for adventure led him to dive into the subterranean passages uncovered from his abode.

He said: "I found a network of tunnels and rooms under my . There are many stained blankets, with perhaps blood. The tunnels just keep going, maybe five rooms? Some rooms have power, others with flowing water."

The eerie underground route weaved right under the road, he noted, while also pointing out its less appealing features: dampness, mould, and a slew of cockroaches.

Reflecting on a DJ set he filmed in one of the cavernous spaces, he mentioned: "I feel like my lungs have never been the same."

Social media users couldn't resist flooding his post with thoughts and queries about his remarkable find.

One eager beaver commented: "Neat. Looks like you found the old coal room. Some care has gone into this room as noted on the last picture."

They added insightfully, "There is lighting, the ceiling has be reinforced. I can also tell that your home used to have hydronic heating with floor mounted rods but has since been converted to another form of heat (forced air heat pump or something similar? ).

"The last picture shows an insulation wrap on the piping which does not look fiberglass. It's hard to tell what material it is. It does not look like asbestos to me since it more of a clothe type wrap but caution should still be exercised around it."

Another user quipped: "Cool, don't mess with any artefact or cursed objects if you find any."

A third person then threw in their two cents, saying: "Airbnb... people will pay to stay there just to be ."

Adding a touch of dark humour, someone else remarked: "Congrats. You now have your very own torture dungeon."

Meanwhile, another commenter revealed a snippet from their family history: "My uncle has something that looks similar and it used to connect to his neighbour across the street and it was from bootlegging."
